This is a gold watch 18k I think the watch has the number 154659 plus B - J with a symbol between the B and J set inside a diamond shape. The symbol is to small for me to make out. can anyone let me know how I find out the age and approximate value as I am thinking of selling it.

Looks like a fairly standard 18k late 1950s dress watch. I don't know what the "B - J" is.
Value depends to a large degree on the case diamter and if in fact it is a JLC case.
