I have a JLC watch. Thats about the depth of my knowledge on the subject I'm afraid. On the back there is the following A.M. 6B/159 4391/56 It is a steel case and the face is very ordinary, with numbers. There is no date window. Hopefully someone can tell me a little more about it. Sorry its not much to go on, but if you need to know more, I would appreciate it if you could let me know what I need to look for. Thanks in advance Matt |

Do you have a picture? If it is legitimate, from the marking it would be a 1956 British RAF watch. The problem is that there is some controversy as to whether or not such an animal exists. If anything, it would be a recase of a WWII era 6B/159 JLC, so I suspect the case is not a JLC case, just the movment and dial. In any event a pic speaks volumes. |
