why not consider a legitimate 'world time'?
Agassiz - near mint signed 14k [snap back] case 32mm in diameter x 40mm long, with serial number matching that of movement, click [inside the back], another [view]. Case has not been polished with sharp edges. excellent signed original "World Time" three piece dial, the outer dial can be set to point to your reference city (where you live) and the inner AM/PM ring dial rotates to read time in the world cities. 17 jewel signed [movement] by Louis Cottier, adjusted to temperatures, with geneva stripes and polished edges, just comprehensively overhauled, Gorgeous and extremely rare Agassiz "World Time" by Louis Cottier, circa 1946, just serviced, an exquisite timepiece. Evidently pretty darn rare. "Louis Cottier died on September 16, 1966 in Ca-rouge. His production totaled 455 movements for World Time pocket watches, wristwatches, and clocks, produced at an average rate of 13 pieces per year. beautiful piece as a composition, everything is right it would be very nice to see it photographed at 7:23 the concealed band elements are very fine - without them, it (with the lugs) reminds me of my favorite LC Memovox case design. I like the size too. |
