I lost the crystal from my watch the other day while fitting a child's car seat (future note to self: do not wear watch when fitting car seats). I now need to replace the crystal. The watch is a 1956 bumper automatic, with a calibre 813 movement. It loses about a minute a day so might also benefit from a service (should I expect greater accuracy from a 50 year old movement? The inside looks pretty clean to me). Anyway please could someone recommend a skilled and competent watchmaker whom I can trust to fit new glass/crystal and perhaps service the watch? I live in West Yorkshire, England, so local recommendations (Leeds/Manchester?) or at least UK would be preferred if possible. I enclose a couple of pictures for information which I hope you can see. thank you
