I understand that the 814 calibre started in production in 1953 and was based on the earlier 489 calibre.

Are parts interchangeable between the two?

I'm looking for an escape wheel for a 489 (early, manual memovox) -- is it possible that a 814 escape wheel would fit as well?

Thank you

Many parts are interchangeable. The escape wheel is the same betwen the two.
