In the past, Zaf, you had suggested that we shouldn't be so concerned about the originality of a watch's crown. Perhaps that suggestion doesn't pertain to all watches. In the case of the Galaxy Mystery Dial with the Vacheron & Constantin-LeCoultre inscription on the caseback, should the original crown be plain or with the LeC? I recognize that this may be trivial in nature, but I am curious and wonder if the wrong crown could detract from the value.

Many thanks,
Bruce

Don't get me wrong, an original crown is better, but not having one should not be reason enough not to buy a watch.

I believe the V&C/LC Galaxy had a cursive "LeC" crown originally.
