hello, i'm new in the formum and i hoped someone could help me with info on my JLC watch. i send it to repair 6 month ago and paid a lot for it since iwonder if the cost of repair was worth it. they told me its a caliber 813 but i dont have any idea about its worth. i've been told its a 50's automatic, pink gold with the # A 700833 on the case. could anyone help? thank you

JLC is well known for their expensive restorations. In most cases it makes not sense to get it factory serviced, exceptions may be vintage Reversos, rectangular center second watches, Duoplans and double or triple dates. The caliber 813 is a quite common bumper (hammer) automatic movement with small second and date feature. Here are the movement details: http://www.jaeger-lecoultre.org/Caliber-details/Caliber_812.jpg http://www.jaeger-lecoultre.org/Caliber-details/Caliber_813.jpg |

thank you very much Ilja for the informations; i'm disapointed since i paid aprox. 1500$ for repairs, much more i guess than the watch's worth. thanks again

We currently have a P813, Jaeger-LeCOultre 18k Yellow screw back for sale - not needing any repairs - for $1199. Thanks, Zaf |
