Never seen before. 2nd crown usually used to rotate inner bezel?
What is case back marked?

here's a photo of back - it's on a notorious auction site - seller in Australia

I don't think I'd go near it. smells like a 'frankenstein' - though I'm green in these matters

I meant no military case markings -- inside back cover stamped JLC (odd for a LC dialed watch?)

The movement looks like a 70's movement and I think the watch outer dial is like a alarm setting so the top crown probably moves that setting, not sure. It also has luminens on the inside dial that almost looks something like the Polaris IIRC.

I would vote it being a Franken with that 70's looking automatic movement.

live auction on the bay - the movement looks like a K881 or 883 - and although JLC made strange looking diving watches I doubt this one is original. I guess the second crown is to move the inner rotating bezel like in the JLC Master Mariner Deep Sea.

Stefan- Your guess is better then mine. I just went to the auction and saw the case back not having an alarm hammer.

It's not an alarm, that's why it doesn't have a hammer.

I don't think this is a JLC case. It the dial is redone (the inner rotating bezel is covering the luminous).

Very fishy.
