Hello Zaf, It appears that this movement has a 94x,xxx serial number versus the typical 91x,xxx one. Have you ever seen an authentic JLC Mark 11 RAF (a RAAF 53 variant) with a 94x,xxx movement number? To my (clearly) green eye, everything else checks out, but this seems fishy... Thanks

correction -- the movement number is 640708 -- which is listed as #66 in the Tracking Table at: http://www.markeleven.com/ And there are other 64xxx numbers in the list. |

from Production Sheet for this serial number: 9/17/49 --- #250 --- 640,604 to 640,853 The watch appears to have a a) 3rd Generation "RAAF" or "Flat 3" dial: b) but a "RAF" 6B/346 caseback Might this imply components from multiple watches? |
