why hello all,
my name is jacob and i have found this forum by pure luck . . accidental click actually, hopefully this image shows up and you can see my watch, i have been googling frantically fer over 80 hours, thats extended over a little more than a week. i cannot find any info on this little gem. I have not had it opened up ( thought it would depretiate it value ) So i cannot say anything other than under the six numeral it has T-swiss-T just how i put it. LECOUTRE under the 12 numeral, and is a 14k gold top with a steel back. The band, unknown what kind to me, is really starting to show its age, you can tell it has been worn by its original owner quite a bit lol, unfortunately, its starting to sererate halves on each side, i was told to bag it to help protect the watch from humidity by my local jeweler, so im gonna do so to stop the band from degraing any more. I have wound it a few times to see if it works, the watch keeps time very nicely, was off by about 30 seconds after a week of time keeping and the alarm is spot on ( and fully operational ) If yall know any kind of info on this little guy, worth, age, rarity, anything please let me know :D thanks a bunch all. muh memovox

It'a a leCoultre automatic memovox with date from either the late 60s or early 70s. Your watch looks to be in good shape. Be aware that this watch may not have been serviced for years and should be serviced if it is to be regularly worn.

If you couldn't find any information on vintage leCoultre Memovox watches with Google you must have been doing something wrong or were you trying to find this specific watch?

I'd chuck the band if it isn't leCoultre. Get a new band for security.

If you want to see what these go for checkout completed ebay auctions for similar watches. You will find vintage leCoultre Memovox watches there I'm sure.

O.O hmmm wow, thank you for yer replies . . . no the watch has not had any service before it reached my hands . . . our local jerwler ( also antiques dealer ) told me that the watch and band were in great condition for its age. I was trying to look for this watch on google . . this watch exactly. . . i dont plan to wear it . . . but where should i try to find a watch band from. The old band is original . . .jeweler knew about the watches but not this one exactly . . . so i hope what i learned there was true. He told me he wouldnt charge me much to work on it . . but i want to keep it original . . .
