My mother inherited from her mother in law a LeCoultre Clock. We are trying to find out when approximately it was made. I have found this site to be so helpful I am hoping it will help some more! It says on or by the movements: The left side stating Fifteen 15 and under it Jewels and VXN. Which I found what VXN means. On the right side: Switzerland and under that Unadjusted. The bottom states Lecoultre and ATMOS. I figured out what ATMOS is also. Any ideas? It was given to my great grandfather for 45 years of faithful service by The Cleveland Twist Drill Company in Ohio
Thank You so much if you can help!!!

Just curious to the year it was made, 50's I assume? What the cost was for buying a clock then and what it would be now.

They still make the Atmos, price I think they are very exepensive. Given the VXN marks, you are correct in assuming it is 1950s to 1960s, but I'm not sure what the cost was then. Assuming it is running, today they trade between $400 and $800 depending on how nice it is.

Thank you so much for your help Zaf. Sorry it took so long to check back in. The clock is running and in excellent condition. My mom has it on the fireplace mantle.
