I had never seen this watch before, but seems to be all original. Anyone with more experience willing to help? Thanks, AlexPic1

Somebody got to the seller. It's no longer for sale and he closed the auction early. I wonder what happened?

It looks also dodgy to me (never seen this type of case at all on a memo, and especially not a combination of such a typical usually gold-filled model dial with a Stainless steel case)

I would classify this as a franken (not to mention the oversized crowns also not consistent with the general style of the other elements)

Usually when the auction is finished BEFORE the end, it means that somebody a joined the seller and offered him a good value so that the seller agrees to say that he wants to cancel the auction.

Every time I hear that it is not an original worldtime dial BECAUSE san fransisco is not written until co at the end,BUT i have never seen one with the entire San Fransisco written.

We didn't go as far as judging the dial authenticity.

Overall, the watch pictured above has so many other evidences that it has been put together that originality of the WT dial isn't even an issue here

Keke- You are most likely correct with someone giving the seller an offer he couldn't refuse. Especially if it has issues as in Franken issues.
Less red tape for the seller. The case and the large crowns look new to me also.
Nice looking watch though.

'nice looking" - if you like a watch with enough text on it to fill a book.

Personnaly I think these Worldtimes are plug ugly.

The market responds by paying a huge premium over normal memovoxes, even for fake world times. It is crazy.

And the worst is that this worldtime isn't a worldtime function at all...
Just a painted disc with cities, connected to the alarm fuction, so pretty much useless.

So many of them are fakes and the functionality of them is so arguable that I have always stayed away from them.

Well, it is a worldtime function, you just can use it at the same time as the alarm function.
