A friend of mine purchased a watch for me on ebay (gulp!) I know he over paid but he knew I wanted one. We have yet to receive the watch and I am obviously nervous. Can anyone confirm that this it looks correct? What I can tell is that both crowns are signed movement is a calibre 825. Unfortunately, from reading here the face has been refinished.
Also wondering the date of the peice.memovox

It looks genuine to me though a refinished dial is worth less than an original unless the original is totally trashed.

Thank you for the response. At some point I will need to have this serviced. Is this something you can do for me? I am in MN. How often should this be done and what would the approximate cost be? Also, can I get a JLC band for this?

Thanks again. I am really pleased I found this forum.

Yes. Costs are $275 and up. The "and up" part is via estimate. We take the watch completely apart, unlike most places, down to the last screw.
