Hi all, Trying to accurately date my JLC memovox. The following markings apply to the watch: Case: 1488196 / 855.42 Mvt: K.825 1977739 Any way of knowing if this watch is gold plate or solid? Any information would be most appreciated. Regards David |

Normally, if it is solid gold, the back is stamped with a "A xxxxxx" if it is steel, there is no letter and if it is plated it is stamped "P xxxxxx". So you may have to open it to be sure. These things are a real pain to open, so avoid if possible. |
