Hi all,
Trying to accurately date my JLC memovox. The following markings apply to the watch:

Case: 1488196 / 855.42
Mvt: K.825 1977739

Any way of knowing if this watch is gold plate or solid?

Any information would be most appreciated.

Regards

Normally, if it is solid gold, the back is stamped with a "A xxxxxx" if it is steel, there is no letter and if it is plated it is stamped "P xxxxxx". So you may have to open it to be sure. These things are a real pain to open, so avoid if possible.
