Good day,

My uncle has recently handed me a vintage JLC.

I believe it's from the 40s or 50s as it's a 481 calibre but I can't find the serial number on the movement.

Case Number: 299459

Attached are the pictures taken.

Any help in IDing would be appreciated, thanks!

It's an American market LeCoultre power wind, mid to early 1950s, caliber 481.

Hi Zaf,

Thanks for the reply.

I've managed to find the movement serial number. Is it possible to know if both matches and their age?

Case Number: 299459
Movement Number: 632748

Many thanks!
Henry

Hi Zaf,

Is it possible to estimate how much the watch is worth?

I supposed the dial is untouched.

Thanks in advance.

The watches dates to 1949-1950. Value, ballpark, around $550-600.
