I resently bought a JLC Vintage. Is it posible to date? It's a 478 cal Movement # 466089 Case. # 373913 Are they matching? And could this be a KNIL piece?

Hi Zaf, The more I go through this forum, the more questions pop into me. I saw a replay from you on a post dd jan2008 that this is a civilian watch or ? Also when looking at that picture the second's dail is complete different. Can you tel me a bid more about this watch or point me in the direction. I don't seem to find a lot of black face jlc like mine. Must say this forum is like the holy grail. |

Yes a civilian watch, case is stainless steel, movement dates to 1947. The only known JLC KNIL watch is the WWW that came from british armed forces inventory. |
