Hi,

I'm new to JLC timepieces and I found a 60s watch that I really liked and the seller told me that it was genuine except for the strap. I would be grateful to get some help.

When I got the watch and had a closer look I don't believe that it is genuine based on the inconsistency of the branding and I'm planning to return. When I look closer on the watch and I reflect a bit the subdial feels a bit awkward within the design. What is your opinion? if it is not original do you believe that there are any genuine parts? or maybe it is just the dial that has been changed?

Thank you,

Tobias

Looks like a legit USA market watch, with the dial repainted to make it sort of look like European watch. Definitely a dial repaint.
