Hello,

I ask this question to Zaf and anybody else who would like to weigh in.

I recently aquired this odd Lecoultre with a European Watch Company signed movement. What are your thoughts on it? Dial, Hands, Movement? Are they original? Is it perhaps a franken?

I appreciate any words of wisdom.

,David

I can't seem to upload pictures of it directly onto this site, as they're too large. Here is a link to my post in another forum:

Anything can happen with the Swiss, but I suspect the dial was swapped out and the hands might be replaced as well. I'd really expect a jlc movement with that dial. The ewc is usually associated with Cartier.

Thank you, Zaf, for your insight.
