Hopefully someone can help me as it looks like I am in the right area.

This picture (there are 3 uploaded but I dont think the second two have uploaded, I will try again) are of my late fathers watch, I have recently taken it out of storage and would like to now wear it for myself. The problem I have is that I do not know what it actually is and I wouldn't want to wear a watch and someone ask me, "whats that"?

This is what I do know:

I know the casing is 18 Carat.

On the movement there is the following (amongst other things):
15 Jewels
Lisica (S.A. I think)
US Pat
Swiss

Inside the front casing it has either 924 or 024 stamped on it and

Inside the rear casing it has two rectangular boxes with numbers in them but I cant read them).

Then finally on the outside of the rear casing it has Depose and 45024 on it.

I would be so appreciated if anyone has an idea and secondly, it needs a service and I'm trying to decide if having it serviced is worthwhile due to the cost. Its one of those things that might outweigh the value?

Any news or guidance would be greatly appreciated, thanks everyone who reads this in advance, it is much appreciated!

If I can find a magnifying glass I might be able to read other markings, until I need to do so lets see what the forum brings up!

Looks like a very very early "Uniplan" maybe? Around 1932. Just guessing. We can service it in the US. where are you?
