Hi everybody I recently found this Futurematic, which is for sale. It seems to be in a very good condition, so good that I wonder whether it is all genuine. It surely has had an overall polish, but this dial seems not repainted to me, what do you think? Also, I have never seen this type of case with these straight lugs before. Has anybody seen this case with this dial before; is it genuine? In Zaf Basha's book about vintage Lecoultre watches, there is a remark about a watch with exactly this kind of dial stating that it has only been observed with 14k gold cases. According to the seller of this one, it is a steel case with 14k or 18k gold filling. Does anybody know whether this watch has been sold in 1958 in this configuration? Thanks a lot in advance for any opinion

The comment you mention refers to particular case style that only comes in 14k, not a dial style. |

Hello. Thanks a lot for your answers. So do you think I can confidently buy it? Does the dial match with the case? Do you think that the dial has been repainted? |
