Hi,
I'm new to the forum and wanted some advice on a watch I have just bought. its a jlc memovox speed beat cal 916. I had been after one for a while but they always went for a lot more than I could afford anyway I managed to get the one shown for what I thought was a good price. 1600 but am now worried that I may have missed something. I did my research and know that it is ok for this model to have a jlc signed face with a lc signed case/movement and from what I can see all seems original. I have not opened the back since I don't have a tool to do this but from the sales pictures I think the serial number is 2147195. Also is there some way to check that the watch has not been reported lost/stolen
Thanks for the help

Looks OK to me. There is a chance the dial is from a Euro model and the rest is a USA watch. However, I have seen this configuration for this watch before, so I am not sure 100%.

Hi,
It is a valid configuration though(jlc face with lc movement case) or thats what I read in an earlier post, plus it has all the original bits crowns hands and everything is like new so i thought it wasn't likely a mismatch
