Anyone know the name of the style of indices and hands on my Master Mariner? History of the watch?

Much appreciated!

Sorry I do not. The Master Mariner name was used for maybe 100 different models and styles! So hard really give a history. It's sort of a generic name for them when referring to a more or less sporty watch, likes "Seamaster" for Omega.
