Here is a watch I just bought, works great as well as the alarm. So far didn't see any Memovox's like this one , just want to see if anyone knows if this is a real one. Any help is greatly appeciated.   |

Yes it is real, late 1950s for the USA market. |

What do you think are my chances of changing the plexiglass and getting the case into shape, color and scratches? As far as I can tell it ticks fine, I can hear the rotor swing every time I tilt it and the alarm works and is quite loud for that watch. |

Chances are good. Plexi is just a round, generic is fine. You can polish gold filled too much, but it looks OK, so shouldn't be a problem. |

I've read previous posts here and noticed a trend as to American market LeCoutre watches seem to be less in $ value than the Jaeger LeCoutre one's. What is the drive behind it, also, what do you think this watch is worth when restored? Greatly appreciate your valuable knowledge and input. How do I get your book that is mentioned in the posts? |
