My father recently gave me his watch that he bought from when he graduated from college and started working - likely bought between 1972 and 1976.

I sent it back to JLC and had it completely refurbished, but I was wondering if anyone knew any information about this model. They told me it was model number 7559 and gave me a product number 791216 - they also gave me a Calibre 885 (not sure what that means).

Under the Model # they listed JLC MANUAL YG YELL DIAL

Since it is my father's watch, I am not planning on ever selling it, etc. but just out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone knew any information about this specific model.

Thanks!

Calibre 885 is the type of movement that is in the watch, looks like JLC doesn't know the model number or name (if any). I don't either, sorry.
