Hi, I would like to know what year is my 18k gold Jaeger, how much is it worth, how rare it is and how much would it cost to eventually clean the movement ? Thank you

We need the movement serial to give a production year. Dial is reprinted.

That is the case serial, we only can date by *movement* serial. Case seems very polished so $700 at best.

I paid 830 for it at auction, they were originally asking 1800 dollars, it is pretty reputable company from Florida. I will get back to you with the serial as soon as the watch comes to my address. Thank you for the opinion thus far

I think you can have a better idea of the watch from this video. Thanks again

And what does an "asking" price have to do with value?
If you paid a price for a watch you obviously like, why asking for an estimation...
Selling a watch with a poorly refinished dial is not necesarly a sign of reputation, is it? ;)

I have searched, all over the internet, from reputable dealers to ebay, and nowhere, absolutely nowhere there is no 18k gold Jaeger LeCoultre under 1000 dollars, even the ones with far worse condition than this one. That is why I bought it, beside the fact It is a beautiful timepiece from a perfect brand. I asked for evaluation as a second opinion. Just as the possibility of their asking price could not be realistic, I have to consider the same possibility for your estimate. Thanks again, anyway for your time

Well, in the league I usually play this watch is more of scrap value for the gold content plus max. $150 for the movement. Comes roughly $700 in total given todays fixing I assume.
The only important thing is you like it. Never mind.

I was wondering, how much would it cost in your company for this watch to be polished (removing any potential scratches from the case), the movement cleaned and the dial restored to your standards ? The watch will eventually need to be overhauled anyway
