I recently picked up this LeCoultre. I am hoping I can find out what year it's from and also a ball park figure of value...
My pictures are not the greatest - but I can provide the serial # on the movement as 553296, while the case back has CASED AND TIMED IN U.S.A. BY LECOULTRE 10K GOLD FILLED -01753.
The movement is 438/4cw.
the crystal has a domed shape to it...

So I'm new to this forum (or any forum for that matter), and am wondering if I'm not getting a response because of my picture quality (or lack thereof...)

The watch does keep great time and although a little small to wear, looks great as a paper weight on my desk...

Any insights would be appreciated.

The gold plated watches, unless they're truly unusual are not valued very high.

Much appreciated, thanks for the insights.

I did just receive your book, and find it quite informative.

I will continue to look for a JL that I can wear on occasion and will hold it's value...
