My Jaeger is being repaired. It needs a date thingy which is a big problem (sorry I'm not a watch expert). I would love to know its vintage. I bought it at a duty free shop at Atlanta airport in 1976 & wore it every day for 25 yrs. It is: Case # 5001.42 Inside 1466323 Movement 2268210 Caliber 901 Jewels 28 What year was it made. Thanks. I have always loved this watch which has served me well. |

I don't understand if you bought it new in 1976, isn't that the vintage? |

I'm using the word vintage as in what year it was made. |

It's not going to be far off from when you bought it, if you bought it new, it may have sat around for a year or two until it sold in 1976. |
