Hello,

My Grandfather has a LeCoultre 6b/159 wrist watch. It also says A25779 on the back.

I am trying to find out some information about the watch for him, in particular its approximate value so that he can decide whether it is worth getting it valued and auctioning it.

I lookeed in the JLC society website and it gets a mention on the articles/mark xi page in passing but nothing more than that.

Any help or pointers in the right direction would be greatfully recieved.

Stuart, would you happen to have the movement serial number? I am collecting these for my book.

I nice example would be worth $400 to $600.

Thanks,
Zaf
