hello there, I came across this watch and would like any knowledgable person to comment whether the watch components are correct for this model. Thanks. |

A couple of thing that I see, which are not quite right: 1. The modern JLC logo that is on the movement is not used on vintage movements. I don't think it's used on contemporary JLC movements, either. 2. The dial is too white for a 60+ year old watch. You would expect to see some aging on an original dial, especially with radium hands. 3. Usually you would see both radium hands and radium numbers, or neither. Not a painted dial and radium hands. 4. The case has a serial number where I would expect it for a vintage JLC, but the military engraving looks modern. 5. I've never seen hands of that style on a JLC. Anyone else? gatorcpa |

Well, it's not a JLC movement + JLC/LeCoultre 6B/159s are snap backs not screw backs. The whole thing is made up. Look elsewhere. |
