I have what appears to be an 18K ladies' gold watch with gold band. Number on back of watch is 916156. On inside of case is 206, 0.750 with an engraved number 1931. The number on the movement is 1604665. Any info would be greatly appreciated! |

I'm not sure what it would be without a photo, but it would date to about 1966. |

Hi George, found it in a 1965 catalog: Reference: 1931 Movement: Cal. 818, 17 jewels, handwind, shock protected. Description reads: Slim mens watch in 18k white or yellow gold. Retail was: German Marks 670 (Yellow gold) German Marks 800 (White gold) No info on the bracelet, could be aftermarket. Try to check for hallmarks or a brand logo. Ilja

Help! I am new at JLC (am a breitling fanatics) but just fell in love to a mysterious old JLC at a local watch shop. I have never seen this JLC that I saw anywhere on the internet. It is a slim, black strapped, automatic with white dial, embosed, not printed, JLC logo and name on the dial, no date, steel case with golden ring on top with some odd letterings and numberings on the case roughly from 2 o'clock to 8 o'clock position. I would really appreciate any help on this as far as how much it is worth and whether this is a real JLC. The attached pictures looks very much like it although I am not certain if they are the same. Thanks much for all the help! |

It is hard to tell from the small picture, but it doesn't look all that genuine to me. Do you have a bigger one and a shot off the back? |

I will do my best to get a clear picture of the front and back Zaf. Perhaps tomorrow since I have to visit the store and ask permission to take the pictures. Thanks! Joey |

I was looking for a different watch and came across one similar to (but not exactly the same as) the one you are looking at. Please see the following picture. You can e-mail me for the URL, as I'm not sure of the rules around posting names of dealers. Evan Morgan
