Good morning. I'm having a hard time finding information about these 2 calibres. Does anyone know what is their expected power reserve when fully wound?

Thanks in advance.

Probably around 45 hours.

The PR for a brand new 818/819 was up to 45 hours. All parts and tolerances for the 818, except the plates & bridges, are identical to the still produced 822. Searching for 822 should give you more results. The letter 'K' before the calibre number usually indicates a movement supplied to another company like Cartier, Vacheron or Lecoultre USA.

Leading 'K' means Kif shock protection.

Thanks for the information, guys. Zaf, Ilja, could any of you confirm that the 822 calibre shares components with this movement? How hard is it to source parts for it?

Thanks!

I see no evidence that these movement families are related. My look at the Jules Borel website shows no caliber 822 listed. Some parts are available for the cal. 818, some are not.

My book "The Story of the Grande Maison" shows that the cal. 818 was introduced in 1960 and cal. 822 was introduced in 1993.

Hope this helps,
