Hi,

I just obtained this beat up, currently non-working and a bit corroded, Jaeger-LeCoultre watch with the following info.

Movement: P 468 (I think)
Serial Number: 308499

Case back inside: LeCoultre Co. Acier Inoxydable

Case back outside:
B
264409

Having spent time here, I know better than to spend money on a non working watch, but a JLC for only a hundred bucks was too hard to resist, so I went for it.

I would appreciate any info you could give me regarding this watch. Also would appreciate suggestions and estimates on how to get it working again. Thanks!

The watch dates to about 1944. Depending on how much rust there is on the balance, hairspring and regulator, this may be a difficult repair. But even for parts $100 ain't bad.

Thanks for the info! Now I just need to figure out how best to get it repaired without breaking the bank. :-)
