Hi there,

Trying to figure out what this blighter is:

Purchased in Switzerland circa 1970.
Judging by the way it ticks it's automatic (sorry I'm a real novice on this!...)

Serial #:

Hi Matthew,

your watch seems to be a ref. 9025.
Caliber 818 (Handwind).
The "A" indicates 18K solid gold.
Retail for this watch was 870 German Marks in 1968.

Movement details can be found here:

I worked out that 870 marks in 1968 is about 970 (GBP) at current prices. Would anyone have any idea what this watch would be worth today if sold second hand (e.g. eBay!)?

Watch is in good condition, no scratches - but no box...

Thanks

Matt
