Just wondering if this solid 18K LeCoultre 817 Porthole Futurematic is original? It only reads LeCoultre on the dial and the movement is marked LeCoultre 817. Sorry for bad pic.

I'm not aware of any US Market portholes in 18k gold...they are normally 14k with a snap back case. So, I'd speculate that the dial was replaced.

Did you check how the movement was marked?
