Hi,

I have a JLC Memovox that I need help dating and also some clarification. When I bought this watch, I assumed that the case was gold filled, due to the stainless steel back and there were no markings. But, I discovered that it tested at 14k with a gold tester. Is there a way to date this watch with the information I have available. It has Memovox and 1064643 on the back. The Serial Number is 1807885 and the Bumper Automatic movement, Caliber # K825.

Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff Meyer

Yes, these are solid gold tops, case reference E855, dates to 1966-67.
