Hi

This is my first post here.
I would be grateful if anyone could offer a definitive date for this JLC watch. The P469A movement has the S/No.381444 and the case has the number 331918.
From what I have been able to rsearch I think it dates to 1945 but would appreciate confirmation.
I would also be interested in the significance of the latter B above the S/No on the case.
Any help would be mosy gratefully received.

1944-45. The "B" stands for chrome plated top in this case. On this model the supposed delivery to the Luftwaffe, the case back and movement numbers should match. It has been discussed several times, do a search on Luftwaffe.

Thank you for your reply and the archive information was very helpful. I was originally told this was a British military watch and whilst it being military, German or British has no influence on my attraction to the watch I am fascinated to uncover some of the secrets it holds.
