Hello from France,
I'm looking for information about my watch as I wasn't able to find any picture of a blue JLC 24002-42.
It has day, date, and "chronometre automatic" written on the dial.
Anything special about it?

Thanks for your help

You bet there is! Only 520 of this case referfence were produced by JLC.

Here's an article about JLC Chronometers.

http://www.watchtime.at/archive/wt_2003_04/WT_2003_04_vintage_jaeger-lecoultre_c hronometers.pdf

Your watch is mentioned on pages 4 and 5.

Hope this helps,

3 Chronometer references in the 70's from the Master Mariner series:
24000, 24001 and 24002
Differences are just the case designs.
