Hello,
I present myself, I'm a swall watches collector from France.I've only 10 Jaeger-Lecoultre on about 80 old wristwatches, like Omega suveran, longines, cal 11, Auricoste type 20 and so on, to have more details I'have a blog specified in my profile, but Its not the fact on the post.

Recently I bought the a Bible by Zaf Basha (Thank you Zaf for this great book shipping so quickly)to help me identifying 3 of 4 JL bought 2 weeks ago, cause in the lot there was also a so nice 36mm steel 489/1 memovox serial n 903xxx.

So, here pictures of one, a 34mm steel case with two tone chocolate lacquered glossy dial, "jaeger-lecoultre, automatic" marking in relief, a caliber 476, serial n on the movement 551xxx, steel clipped back.
I would like to know, please, if its watch is common and its the value.I have looking for informations on the net but nothing
!!

2 tones dial
476 movement
back

Thanks to you members of the forum
Best regards and please to read you from France
Stan

Honestly, I have not seen the watch with a "chocolate" dial. Are you sure it's not just a faded black dial?

Thanks for your answer.
How much estimated you the value of this first JL automatic, 476, keeping time and running strong but with a non chocolate dial ;) ?

Hi Zaf,

I'registered to your "past price" but I did not see a similar watch to this one and others I had (future post) and prices are early ones.
This JL is what colour to you and what is actual value ?
Best regards

To me the dial is black with fade. Hard to tell unless I see it in person. The value is likely to be around $600-800 though I have not had one recently so I can't be certain.
