I was fortunate enough to come by a JLC watch in my dad's old jewelry in the last few days. Can anyone help me with identifying it. I suspect that it's from the mid 1940s to early 1950s.

Those usually have movement caliber 478 in them, I don't know the case reference number. It will not have a model name; dates to around 1945.
