attached are the images of the time piece which I accidently discovered tobe in my collection. this has case no 8839 movemnt no 42465. my local watch maker feels that glass is made of diamond? or sapphire crystal as the same has 4 cuts and the refraction of light.I need to find what this was referd to as? clip watch?as also its age. pls comment.

The movement dates to about 1934. The crystal is probably glass. I can't tell from the photo, is it a money clip? Very interesting either way!
