Hello Everyone.

I am the (proud) owner of a Reverso 1931. And a frequent forum user on another watch forum. I recently posted there that I think my next "project" will be to hunt for a vintage Jaeger. Someone kindly sent me here. Hello!

Here's my first question:

I have gotten the advice (which seems logical to me) that I should "focus" as I step into vintage. Pick a brand and model -- and really study. Get smart. Find out what good ones look like. What the market price is, etc.

I think I'd like to focus on Geomatic.

Is that a good focus? Are there too few of them in circulation? Will I be happy with performance of the watch (or is it a model rife with problems). etc. etc.

If I can find a nice one, what price RANGE should I expect to see.

Thanks so much for getting me started!

I think for a nice Geomatic, prices start at $4000 from a dealer and go up depending on model and condition, if really good.
