Dear all,
I recently inherited this beautiful watch:

Right side

The case number reads: 933221

Any info about type, year of make or other valuable information would be appreciated.
Watch is in excellent state and runs perfectly on time. Alarm is also working fine.

Thanks in advance
Dieter

It is a Jaeger-LeCoultre European market "Memovox" alarm, made around 1962 (Guessing). I can only date more precsisely with the movement serial number. I don't know which case reference it is we'd need to open the back to find out. I don't recommend doing this unless you know what you are doing. Perhaps someone else knows the case reference. Thanks.

Maybe as late as 1964.

Zaf, thanks for your fast response to my question.
As you asked for the serial number I went to see an acquaintance who has some experience in handling this kind of watches.
The movement serial number we found inside reads 1357750 and the movement appears to be a JLC CAL 814.
Unfortunately we forgot to take some pictures:-(

Anyway, I hope this can put some more light on the history.

Thanks already
Dieter

That dates the movement to 1960, though it may have been cased up to 2 years later or more. So it's 1960-1962. From the case serial I'd be more confident with 1962.
