Common problem with that movement, the rotor flops around. Parts are not available. My watchmaker ends up having to re-engineer that area of the movement. Not an inexpensive proposition.

Since the watch still winds conventionally, my guy suggested removing the weight and using a heavier spring. Still searching the web in case i get lucky.

Whatever you do, keep the parts so that when you do find what you need, it can be returned to being a complete movement. A partial movement takes a huge value hit.
