Hi everyone,

For some time I've been trying to get a Futurematic with this same dial/case combination --> http://www.classicwatch.com/graphics/rxvi0418d.jpg

Now I've found a unit, the piece is running and has no hack problems, but there are some issues.

First time I met with the seller, everything was working fine except a +2 min/day lapse, he took it to be adjusted and then appeared a problem with the time setting. We agreed to give a watchmaker some time to check it and the result is that now the watch has some delay and the winding isn't fine neither.

The seller can't guarantee a proper functioning and he is open to talk about a new price. My questions are:

- any proposal on a fair quotation? starting price was 900 , about 1140 $.
- I know its advised to go for a perfectly working unit, but I'm living in Spain and as you know Futurematics are rare in Europe, and I want exactly this dial/case. Plus taxes would crush my budget if I buy a USA unit. Do you think I should pass?

Thank you

That's about what we asell them in the USA for properly working examples. When I serviced them we charge $300-400.
