I recently acquired this LeCoultre Powermatic watch: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/gatorcpa/Watch%20Photos/LeCoultre%20Powerm atic/DSCN2051.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/gatorcpa/Watch%20Photos/LeCoultre%20Powerm atic/DSCN2071.jpg Serial number is 619,726. Zaf, can you give an idea of production date? I think this may be one of the "Mark 7" designated models as per this post: http://www.classicwatch.com/discus/messages/622/4946.html And this advertisement: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/gatorcpa/Watch%20Photos/LeCoultre%20Powerm atic/lecoultre.jpg The dial seems to be an exact match. The case is a little different than the picture, but the lugs do over the bezel, as GregB describes. Sorry for all the links, but the pictures are a bit large for the format of this forum. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide, gatorcpa |

The production is from 1949 approximately, so likely to be one of the early ones. Most these movements were shipped to the USA. |

...over 100,000 made. So I think it is by far, their most prolific vintage model. |
