I recently purchased this LeCoultre watch. Here is the information that I know:

Caliber: 480/CW
Serial #: 936475
Case #: 00004570
Hallmark: "A"

Please see pictures attached.

I also have a question about the dial. Do you think it is appropriate for the watch? If not, any suggestions as to obtaining an appropriate dial?

The dial looks OK, though it may have been repainted at some point, I don't have my serial number data handy right now, but from experience the serial number of the movement dates the watch to about 1960.

Thanks for the information. The watch was purchased for my father's 70th birthday, coming up soon.

He had a similar LeCoultre watch which was stolen many years ago.
