Hi,

I have a 14K Gold LeCoultre wind up watch. I am trying to find out what year it is from and the possible value. Here is the info on the watch:

Back Plate:
Cased & Timed in USA
by LeCoultre
14K Gold
490M72
160687

It also has some hand engravings that are hard to read. One of them looks like a signature.

On Watch Mechanism:
Swiss Unadjusted
K818/CW
17 Jewels

Please email me back at [email protected] or call me at 505.235.5631

Thanks for your help!

I can't date it precisely without the serial number on the watch mechanism. It's probably early 1960s. I don't know the model name, sorry. Case reference, for the USA market, is most likely "490M72".

Look harder, it will have a 6-7 digit serial number, probably 6 digits. Probably the smallest of the digits, you may have to magnify.
