This watch has come into my possession from a relative. The watch says Cartier on the face, Memovox on the back, European Watch Co on the movement (489/1) and Le Coultre on the inside of the back.
I can't seem to find that much information about the watch except some people think it is a fake. What can you tell from the pictures?

This is one that I think you are going to need to take to Cartier to authenticate.

Cartier and Jaeger-LeCoultre collaborated on a few specialty models in the 1950's under the name of European Watch Co.

From what I understand, these are very rare and collectible watches. Proper provenance will be very important if you ever wish to sell it.
