All,

Thank you in advance for your help.

I am looking for a stainless steel geomatic with a second hand stop. I am proposed one allegedly a cal. 883 S with a second hand stop.

1. I asked if the second hand is stopping when the crown is pulled out for changing the time and the seller's answer is "no it does not".

My understanding is that :

a. either the cal. is not 883 S but 881,

b or the cal. is actually 883 S but the second hand stop function is broken.

From your point of view, is this conclusion correct ?

2. If a E399/1 stainless steel with a cal. 883S is available, what is, from your point of view, the range its current value ?

Many thanks for your help.

Regards.

Saw this beast on an auction platform... this is no real Geomatic, watch the caseback - no 14k Geomatic logo. ;)

Agreed, certainly, if there is no Gold medallion, stay away.
