Hi This watch used to be my Grandmothers, It has 34 diamonds on the bracelet and 18 smaller diamonds around the face, the face is 12mm in diameter. On the rear of the face is a number 958040A.
There is some staining to the face. I would be grateful for any information about the age, rarity and value of the watch.
Many Thanks

If any one could give me an idea of the date this watch was manufactured it would be very helpful. I have been unable to find a similar watch online. Thanks
Roger

These are fairly rare, as they cost a fortune when new. It appears to be an early 1960s piece.

The market, today is not too kind to small ladies watches, even from JLC, there just isn't much demand. So its value is probably a few hundred over the gold & diamond value.

Thanks Zaf, someone said it may be 1930's so its good to get a better idea of the date. We were considering using the diamonds for an engagement ring- this might be the best option for us.
Thanks
Roger

I found a brand new JLC watch, small ladies watch) similar to this one, with same face. The watch is new, but I believe it's produced in 60s, as the shop belongs to an very old man. (The strap is similar to the photo attached, but half of its width) Asking for US$3,300, should I buy it?

To answer your question, you'd need to know how much gold is in it. I would not pay more than a few hundred over gold + diamond value if I were you.
